These Terms of Use apply to the Sajjil mobile app and sajjil.app. By using Sajjil, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Sajjil does

Sajjil helps you save receipts, track warranty and return dates, scan supported receipt QR fields, receive reminders, and create proof or claim summaries.

Sajjil is an organization and reminder tool. It is not legal, tax, accounting, warranty, consumer-rights, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying the written warranty, receipt, retailer policy, and applicable law before relying on any deadline.

2. Independent app

Sajjil is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government authority, tax authority, retailer, manufacturer, or payment provider.

When Sajjil reads supported receipt QR data, it is only machine-reading fields made available in the QR payload. It does not prove that a receipt is authentic, government verified, refundable, or eligible for warranty service.

3. Your responsibility for receipt data

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you add or edit.
• QR data can be incomplete, wrong, malformed, or unsupported.
• Retailer policies can change and may differ by product, branch, channel, or campaign.
• Warranty and return reminders can fail if permissions are denied, the device is offline, the device is reset, or the operating system blocks notifications.
• You should keep any original receipt or official warranty document when required by a retailer or manufacturer.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Sajjil may offer Free, Plus, Family, and Lifetime access. The exact features, prices, trial availability, taxes, and renewal terms shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase screen control the offer at the time you buy.

• Free: limited receipt use, currently designed as 5 new receipts per month and 25 saved receipts total, with limited reminders and watermarked sharing.
• Plus: unlimited receipts, fuller reminders, clean proof summaries, offline local vault use, and priority support when available.
• Family: household features for up to 3 users and an admin dashboard only when account/family features are active in the live app.
• Lifetime Founder: one-time access to the listed individual paid features, limited to the first 500 users only if the live app or store offer states that cap is active.

App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store before renewal according to that store’s rules. You can manage, cancel, or restore purchases in your Apple Account, Google Play account, or the app’s restore purchase flow when available.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google unless the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Sajjil to create, edit, share, or support fraudulent claims;
• scan or store information you do not have the right to process;
• share another person’s personal data without a lawful basis or permission;
• misrepresent a Sajjil proof summary as official government, retailer, or manufacturer verification;
• reverse engineer, attack, overload, or interfere with the app or related services;
• use Sajjil in a way that violates law, store rules, or these Terms.

6. Third-party services and links

Sajjil may link to retailer policy pages and may use Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, or other service providers when the relevant features are enabled. Third-party websites and services are controlled by their own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual property

Sajjil, the app design, app text, branding, and software are owned by Sajjil or its licensors. You keep ownership of receipt content you add to the app. You give Sajjil only the limited rights needed to operate the app features you use.

8. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We try to keep the app useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Sajjil is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sajjil is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by inaccurate receipt data, missed notifications, changed retailer policies, lost devices, user sharing choices, or unsupported QR codes.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in another jurisdiction apply and cannot be waived.
